Yukata

I introduce about yukata. Yukata is Japanese traditional clothes. People wearing yukata are a common sight in Japan at fireworks events, bon-odori festivals, and other summer events. New design of yukata appears one after another every year. It is generally said that the big pattern’s yukata suit tall people and small pattern’s yukata suit small people. Yukata is not easy to wear, and it is hard to move, so if you wear yukata, you have to do graceful action. In Japan, there is such a proverb. “tateba syakuyaku, suwareba botan, aruku sugata ha yuri no hana.” It means that “she looks as beautiful as a peony, and when walking she looks as elegant as a lily”. I think if we wear the yukata, we can come up like the person. There seem to be many women’s yukata, but there are a lot of men's, too. So let's go for an event of the summer wearing a yukata. And let’s enjoy Japanese summer with yukata!

Drop out rate

Rate of drop out universities in Japan is the lowest in the world. According to research that objected 27 countries by Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, Japan’s universities’ -conclude junior college, academy – drop out rate 10%, by contraries in America over 50%, and New Zealand too.
The countries that have high drop out rate have a system called part time”. In this system, we can learn whenever we want, so we can take our time. Because of high ratio of this system, there are many cases that halfway of this system, this makes drop out rate is higher. And in European people don’t think that drop out and change the academy is bad, so this view is high rate too.
But Japan’s drop out rate is lower, will of study is lower than other countries. Japanese students’ homework times are about 5 hours per a week. New Zealand students’ homework times are 13 to 14 hours. New Zealand has high drop out rate, but student study hard.

FESTIVALS

There is a doll festival in my hometown. It called “Iida Ningyougeki Fest”. The festival’s policy is “Everyone Can Take Part by – Seeing, Playing, Supporting”. Many doll’s drama are played at the festival. I’ve never been to the festival because I had a previous appointment then, so I want to go. This festival holds on August during 10days. There are many people not only local people but also people from other prefecture and foreign people. Therefore the festival needs some volunteers to help foreigners as interpretation, so I will study English harder until next season the festival and I want to take part in that as a interpreter.
